Is it normal for Notebook/ Laptop cooler fan making some/ little noise? I have bought my first laptop to replace old desktop computer. I run it using AC power like desktop instead of battery. It is ok, but, the cooler fan of this laptop makes little noise when it run to cool the system. Does your computer make little noise like that??

Have a laptop cooler but fan still runs a lot. What can I do? Over the summer I purchased a laptop cooler. This worked so good, the fan would stay off. About a month ago, I had a problem with my computer and brought it to my campus computer center. They said they found viruses and whatnot and fixed it. After I got it back the fan would constanly run. They deny they did anything. I hate that they are always on because I bring my laptop to class and its so noisy compared to everyone elses. The laptop is about 3 years old and it is a compaq. I tried to use air in a can but that didn't help. Do any stores (Best Buy, Staples, etc.) clean the dust out of computers? best laptop cooler/fan? I have the XPS dell laptop with a 9-cell battery. I cannot find a good laptop fan for it and the way the laptop is design is quite different than other laptops. the hot air doesnt blow from the side but blow where the monitor is which heats up my monitor. It only blows out perfectly when i close the laptop... Its hard to explain.. but anyways.. what would be a good laptop fan for this? =) thank u in advance

Can you keep your Laptop on 24-7 as long as you have it plugged in and a fan cooler under it? I'm new to the Laptop world! Toshiba laptop cooling fan not working (Satellite A135)? The cooling fan stopped working and the laptop shuts down for safety reasons. Laptop cooling fan stops working after booting to winXP, works on bootup, laptop gets HOT.fan programs dont wk Works while booting up, as soon as XP starts, the fan stops and never comes on again. This will get hot enough to burn you leg! Im suprised the plastic cover on the CPU hasnt deformed. I can blow on the fan and itll turn, but no power to it.
