Should i buy a Laptop cooling Fan?

I have a Sony Vaio Laptop , the Fan noise is to loud and noisy. I don't have the power panel feature anymore, cause i had windows 2000 on it and had it replaced with XP.Should i buy a Laptop cooling Fan? Fan to loud and noisy.

1. It might be that your fan has alot of dust in it. So if theres a way, or a little thing you can unscrew where the fan is, then do it and clean out the fan. Will help alot for the noise and heat.
