Will a regular table fan cool my laptop enough?
The fan in my Dell died a while ago so I have been using a small table fan to blow air at the bottom of my laptop to keep it from getting to hot. I was wondering if this is cooling my laptop enough to keep it from malfunctioning, and if so, should I point the table fan into the fan space on the laptop or just aim it at the battery since that seems to be what is getting the hottest?

- Be careful your notebook can and will overheat. A box fan may blow air pretty hard but cannot provide sufficient air flow to keep your CPU and GPU cool. It only takes a few seconds to overheat burn up better to be safe than sorry. Take it to a shop or call around and get a quote to fix it. It will cost less in the long run, trust me I know first hand.
