Stickers on top of a laptop over heat it?

Could stickers on top of a laptop over heat it?

1. it could if it is blocking vents
2. When you say over the Laptop it would obviously be on the backside of the LCD right ! Overheating will take place only when you block the fan at the bottom of the Laptop, it is easy to spot it. I have put a sticker in mine also:)
