  1. Get yourself some canned air. Blow out the heat vents on the laptop and any fans that it may have. Most likely there is a fair amount of dust built up. No need to take it apart
  2. Cooling pad = you can get one at any major computer outlet, as well as the website of the company that made your computer. Cleaning the fan = It is recommended that you take out hte fan and blow it with compressed air, if you are hesitant to open up your computer go ahead and just shoot it while its in the computer case. The former is highly recommended over the latter because dust can cause problems in other components as well.
  3. Hi mate, Before buying the cooling fan you should check why your computer is over heating. If clogged air circulation vents can cause your laptop to overheat, it stands to reason that cleaning the laptop vents can cure the problem. While laptop overheating can be reduced by cleaning your fans and exhaust vents, cleaning your laptop air vents sometimes can be more complicated than it sounds. A partial cure can be achieved by blowing compressed air through your laptop’s venting system. To do this, buy a can of compressed air at a computer or photography store, and blast the air into the exhaust vent. This will cause dust to blow out through the fans and air intake ports. You also can use a hand vacuum cleaner to attempt to suck the dust out. This does not always cure the problem, because if the dust has been in the system for a while, it can become caked onto the exhaust vents and the fans and not yield to an air blast. In this case, your laptop may continue to overheat. In this situation, you can disassemble the laptop to clean the air pathways and the fans. If you do so, you will almost certainly void any warranty remaining on your laptop due to opening the system. Even if your system is out of warranty, this process requires extreme care. Whenever you disassemble a notebook computer, you risk damaging components by discharging static electricity onto sensitive components, disconnecting cables or connectors, and otherwise making a mess of the sensitive internal workings of your computer. There are several online guides to cleaning your laptop. If you choose to disassemble your laptop, following these guides or otherwise, the risk is yours, and neither we nor the sites providing detailed instructions will be responsible for the results. 4. well first if you know how to open your laptop then you may do so..... first take off the heat sink and fan.... brush of dusts.... be sure you have a thermal paste for the connectors of the processor and heat sink..... try to format your computer maybe its a virus or some software corruptions..... if this fails then you can buy a cooling fan.....
  5. my daughters lap top did that to she was sitting it on a blanket all the time which covered the fan vent on the bottom of the computer after she stopped covering that vent it was OK but we did get her a cooling pad with 2 fan at walmart for her think it was $20.00 hope this helps...
  6. A simple non-technical way of fixing a heat issue is to take compressed air and blast the vents to loosen up the debris then take a shop vacuum or house vacuum to remove what was loosened up. This is very low tech and very effective. Remember that your heat issues can be related to more than that though. For example, your video GPU may be overheating, the thermal paste may be dried up on your CPU, and so on.
