How long does it take for laptop accessories (battery, ram) to become cheaper?

1. Yes and no. Battary's tend to stay the same from release to end time it is offered. Ram is just like desktops as better comes out it will decrease in time but not much. Most of the time it's better to get a new laptop in the long run.

3. it normally takes about 18 months, but for some newer technology, it could take longer. Just keep a lookout for sales that might be your only way for a shorter time.
4. as better stuff comes out the price will get slightly lower and then when the company is discontinuing it, it will drop drastically
5. I think on an average every 6 months it goes cheaper.
