Is it normal for Notebook/ Laptop cooler fan making some/ little noise?
I have bought my first laptop to replace old desktop computer. I run it using AC power like desktop instead of battery. It is ok, but, the cooler fan of this laptop makes little noise when it run to cool the system. Does your computer make little noise like that??

- Yes, that's perfectly normal.
- Yes its normal. But it also depends on the brand and model of your laptop. For instance, my HP hardly makes any noise unless I am really doing some strenous work like playing games.
- The more you push your Notebook the more noise it will make. The fan noise is very normal. You should only worry if the fan has no voice whatsoever or it starts ticking. But if this noise is high and constant it means that your Notebook might be overheating. You may get over it by shutting it down when you are not using it, don't leave it on Stand-By at nights or make sure the fan air intake is clear.
- It is normal and might be heard more than a desktop fan since the laptop fan is closer to you. Nothing is wrong with it.
